Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Nexteir Technologies Private Limited (formerly Trando), trading as NexTeir Technologies (“NexTeir”, “we”, “us”), handles personal data collected through www.nexteir.com and in the course of our services. For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), we are the Data Fiduciary for the data described below.

When we build software or run WhatsApp or marketing tools for a client, we usually process our client's customers' data on that client's instructions. In that case the client is the Data Fiduciary and we act as a Data Processor under a written agreement.

2. Personal data we collect

We collect only what we need, from these sources:

• Contact, quote and project forms: name, email, phone number, company, and the message or project details you write.
• Free audit form: name, phone/WhatsApp number, email, business name, city, service of interest and, if you give it, your website URL.
• WhatsApp call booking form: name, phone number and preferred call time.
• Chatbot: name, email, phone number and the messages you type. The chat is also saved in your browser's local storage so it survives a page reload.
• WhatsApp, email and phone conversations you start with us, including opt-in records where we manage WhatsApp messaging.
• Technical data: basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time) kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.
• Business records: billing details, GST number and payment references for paying clients.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data through the site. Please do not send us passwords, card numbers, health information or government ID numbers in forms or chat.

3. Why we use your data

We use personal data on the basis of your consent (for example, when you submit a form) or for limited legitimate uses permitted by the DPDP Act, to:

• reply to enquiries, prepare quotes and proposals, and run free audits you ask for;
• deliver, support, invoice and improve our services;
• send service messages about your project or booking;
• send you updates about our services only if you have opted in, and stop when you ask;
• keep the website secure and prevent abuse;
• meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.

4. WhatsApp messaging and opt-in

We send business-initiated WhatsApp messages only to people who have given us permission. If we run WhatsApp automation for a client, we help the client collect and record opt-ins (for example, through a QR code, a “Chat on WhatsApp” button or a tick-box). You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP or by telling us. Messages are delivered through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, which processes message content and metadata under its own terms and privacy policy.

5. Cookies and local storage

The site does not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. It uses your browser's local storage to keep your chatbot conversation on your device (keys beginning nexteir_chat_). You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

We may use Google Search Console and a privacy-conscious analytics tool, such as Google Analytics, to understand which pages are useful. If we switch on analytics that set cookies, we will update this section and ask for consent where required. You can block cookies in your browser without losing access to the site.

6. Who we share data with

We share personal data only as needed to run our business:

• Service providers who host the website and database, send email, provide the WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta or its partners), or help us with accounting. They may process data only on our instructions.
• Our team members who need it for your project, under confidentiality duties.
• Authorities where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
• A buyer or successor if our business is reorganised or transferred, with the same protections.

Some providers may store data on servers outside India. We choose providers with reasonable security practices and, where required, only transfer data to countries permitted under Indian law.

7. How long we keep data

• Enquiries and leads: up to 24 months after our last conversation, unless you become a client or ask us to delete them sooner.
• Client project and billing records: as long as the contract runs and for the period tax and company law require (generally 8 years for accounting records).
• Chat history in the database: up to 12 months.
• Server logs: typically 90 days or less.

After this we delete or anonymise the data, unless the law requires us to keep it.

8. How we protect data

We use reasonable security safeguards: encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls limited to people who need the data, regular backups and careful handling of credentials. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach affects you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

9. Your rights under the DPDP Act 2023

You have the right to:

• get a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it;
• ask us to correct, complete or update your data;
• ask us to erase your data when it is no longer needed for the purpose you gave it;
• withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect processing done before withdrawal;
• use our grievance process below, and nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to do so.

To use a right, email hello@nexteir.com from the address we hold for you. We may need to verify your identity, and we aim to respond within 30 days.

10. Children

Our services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data of anyone under 18 without verifiable consent of a parent or guardian. If you think a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Grievance contact

If you have a question or complaint about how we handle your data, write to our Grievance Officer:

We will acknowledge your complaint within 7 days and try to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational, after first using our process.

12. Links to other sites

Our pages may link to other sites (for example, WhatsApp, Google or directories). We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. We will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date. For material changes we will make a reasonable effort to tell you. Your use of our services is also covered by our Terms & Conditions.
